Boise State Football

Our BSU season was awesome! We got season tickets this year and got to go to most of their home games. It is always great cheering for our favorite team- GO BRONCOS!!!
This season several things happened: One night I left my phone on the bench in the nose bleed section. I was so sad, because I just barely got this new phone. Ryan decided to run back to the stadium and try looking around. So he did and prayed the entire time hoping that my phone wasn't taken. Well it was taken alright, by a security guy. Ryan talked to one security guy who radioed another guy who had picked up my phone. I was so grateful!! We did not have another $100+ to replace it!

Another funny thing that happened this season was I was walking by the Boise State Mascot- The Bronco and he looked at me, grabbed me by my cheeks and kissed me! BAHAHAHA!! I stood there stunned. A horse just kissed me! My mom who was walking with me and everyone around us was laughing. I'm sure Buster BRONCO does it all the time but it was pretty funny. I told Ryan and he laughed and then wanted to beat the guy up. :)

Evil Kenevil Whereabouts

On Labor Day we decided to head out and have a picnic at the Shoshone Falls here in Twin. It's only about a 7 minute drive from our house. It's beautiful around the falls and so peaceful. It was such a beautiful day too. The weather was perfect. We just hung out and relaxed for a while.  We then did a 2 1/2 mile hike with the girls and took them to the spot where Evil Kenevil tried to drive his motorcycle across the canyon. He was obviously very unsuccessful, but it was neat to be in the same spot where it all went down...literally.

Avery Chooses to be Baptized

What a beautiful day it was for Avery's Baptism day! There were 5 kids getting baptized from our ward that day. It was a very special day. My family was there and Ryan's family. Tammy and Bob couldn't make it and we missed them. But we had a lot of support from our family, friends and ward members. We had a nice luncheon afterwards with our family and few members from our ward. The Steele's and Bingham's came to lunch

It was a packed sacrament room. The kids were each spotlighted. Avery was first to be spotlighted as she is the oldest by a few days to 2 weeks. They talked about how Avery loves playing with friends and likes to play soccer. She loves Math and P.E. And wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

It's hard to believe our little Poh-Bah who acted and looked like this not too many years ago....

....Is now getting baptized! Where has the time gone?! I tell her to stop growing all the time, I practically threaten her daily.  BUT nooooooo, she doesn't listen. She grows more and more anyway. She is a very disobedient child! ;)

However, I guess I will forgive her for growing up so fast, as she did choose to be baptized. ;)
We Love you Avery and are so proud of you and your decision to be baptized.

Avery was a little nervous going into the sacrament room after taking pictures in the hall. They had a conversation that went a bit like this:

Avery asked, "What if a person doesn't go all the way under?"

Ryan said, "You mean if they had a toe sticking out or something?"

She said, "Yeah."

"Well, then they would have to baptized again."

<Pause>

In deep thought Avery said, "Ohhhhh."

Well, as it turns out as Avery was getting baptized she kicked her foot up into the air as she went under.

Yep.

You guessed it!

She had (or got) to be baptized again! Her and Brenner, the boy standing next to her, were baptized twice. I kind of wonder if it was an "accident" or not. haha! Silly kid.

It was a wonderful day though. One that I won't forget either.
