2nd grade skateland trip

I love going to Skateland for the 2nd grade field trip with the girls. This was my last year to be able to go. I can't believe my baby is going to be in third grade next year. Where has the time gone?!? We had a great time skating together. Emily is such a sweetheart and such a great kid for her teachers!

Surprise 60th Birthday Party

My mom turned 60 on May 26th and we have been planning a surprise 60th for her for almost 10 months! It took a lot of planning and preparation but it was a success! She was utterly and completely surprised!!! I knew we got her good, because she didn't do her hair or makeup and if she knew that there was something even remotely going on she would have done herself up. It was a great party and a great turn out! Many of my aunts and uncles came. Along with several cousins and their spouses and kids. Also several families drove over from Pocatello from my parents ward. She had a few friends come from all over too, Arizona, Utah, Boise and Las Vegas.

We love you mom and we are especially gratefully for all you do for us!!
Happy Birthday!

Saloon Murder Mystery

This year for our annual murder/mystery night, we decided to go out west... way out, to the wild west.  We all dressed as characters from a town out on the frontier.  Christy and I were city slickers, she the rich daughter of a tycoon and I was the drunk maverick, always seeming to win the poker hands mysteriously. Everyone did a great job with their costumes.  We had bartenders, cowboys, sheriffs, and out laws.  The women were more murderous than the men! Just look at their faces.  I wouldn't cross them. Once again, Francom and I were arch enemies. Kyle Kunz ended up being the murderer.  Christy ended with the most money and clues and I was voted best actor.  Just between you and me, I wasn't acting.  I was drunk on Dr. Pepper and Root Beer.

Christy already plotting her next move and me getting ready to drink myself under the table.

Kyle looks so innocent and upstanding.  Right before he knifes you in the back!
Bryce and Heidi, no matter how they try, they just always look kind and friendly

Francom...
