Summertime Fun!

We did a lot of water activities this summer. Our good friends invited us over for a fun time on their water blow up slide/toy. We also went to Dierke's Lake- another one of our favorite things to do. I decided since the girls were doing so well with learning and practicing to swim that I wanted them to keep it up, so we got a city pool pass to the YMCA this summer and swam several days a week there.  I didn't get any pictures at the city pool, but they are all the same- swimming! It was just a fun summer FULL of swimming! 

We were invited over to our friend's parents place again overlooking the canyon for another pool party. We had a great time with all our friends.

12th ward Rafting Trip

Our ward is awesome. It seriously is. I don't mean to brag, but we have an amazing ward and amazing people in it. We have people from other wards all the time say how lucky we are to be in the 12th ward.  We even have some families that have moved out of the ward they are in, just to be in our ward! Not kidding! Everyone gets along with everyone and we are all so close. I consider this ward like family.

 We did an adult ward rafting trip and had such a great time. They are going to make this a yearly thing now, and everyone is stoked! :) We went to a nearby park and had a cook out after the rafting trip was over.

Cousin Colton Came

While the girls and I were waiting for Colton to get to our house that night, they jumped on the trampoline with the sprinkler. That is like one of the greatest memories I have with a few of my cousins-jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler on. I didn't get pictures but the following day with Colton they got to do it again. We always get to spend a few days to a week with Colton every summer and we love having him stay with us. He is a good kid and it was so fun to be with him. 

On another day while Colton was visiting, a friend of mine invited us to her parent's pool here in Twin Falls. And actually we are more than friends, we are family! We found out that Ryan and her husband, who's name is Ryan are related. Their grandpa's are brothers! So Riley, their son, who Madisen used to play with all the time in first grade when they were in the same class, are 3rd cousins! I guess they weren't just meant to be friends because they are cousins. Small world!

It was so nice of them to invite us and it is a beautiful pool. It looks out over the canyon and has an amazing view of everything. My friend, Crystal grew up in that house! What an amazing home to grow up in, getting to swim and water ski almost anytime you want. They have their own personal dock to the river/lake just down below the pool.
