Spring Break!

Since we took the girls to Disneyland back in February we stayed home during Spring Break and just had a fun time doing things around town. We had lots of friends over during the week but we also just had a lot of time to hang out with just us girls.

We went to the planetarium and did some crafts and made fossils. We also watch a movie on their huge circular movie screen about planets and the sun. It made Avery and I dizzy and sick to our stomachs though.

One night we invited some of the girl's friends over for a 'late-night' and played games, watched The Little Princess and had lots of snacks and treats! The girls had a blast and so did I!

We also got together a few times with friends and had dinner together. One night we went to a park and roasted marshmallows and played games. The girls went hiking up through the canyon too and they loved that, even though it made me a little nervous! ;)

Catch that Leprechaun!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

I don't get into these kinds of holidays as much as other moms but we do like to have a little fun. We aren't THAT boring...ok maybe we are! ;)
So Lucky Charms and green milk for breakfast, along with a few chocolate mint candies. That's how we roll. The kids liked it, so chalk that up on "successful parent moments". I had the idea but Ryan actually gets the credit, as he was the one that stopped by the store and picked the stuff up. Way to go Dad! :)
The girls, especially Avery, get so hyper and excited even over the smallest things. They love being creative and sharing their crazy ideas, even if they are just that, CRAZY! Like how we are going to catch the leprechaun or how else we could decorate and wear green socks and green underwear or even green shoelaces. :)

The Juice Joint

We were invited to attend a Murder Mystery Dinner a few weeks ago and we had such a great time! It was awesome. Everyone really got into it and made it so much fun. There were glaring eyes, smack talk, gang slang, scandals, cat-fights, bribes and black mail....making for one crazy party! Plus tons of pictures. We had 1920's music playing and low lights and a great dinner. Everyone brought something for the dinner. We had a 7 course meal and so much sparking cider, root beer and mocktail drinks. So yummy!

We found out in the end it was Ryan, Chief Cameron, who murdered Nicholas Nick, who in turn murdered, Louise, which was my dear late husband....sniff. I played Rosie Marie, the Juice Joint owner, where the party was being held at.

At the end of the party we all cast our votes for the person(s) we thought was the killer. We also cast votes on best Actor and Actress and also counted up all the money we made through bribes or black mail. In the end I felt a little embarrassed as I won all three awards! Ryan was best supporting Actor, losing by only one vote. And in the end, I must have been pretty darn convincing as I ended up with the most cash! Whoooohooooo!! :)

Sorry for so many pictures!

Ryan is Guilty!!
