Fun St. Patrick's Day?
Before my kids were born I had good intentions of being the fun mom for every holiday throughout my kids' entire years at home.
Doing all the things from making gingerbread houses, carving and painting pumpkins, endless crafts for each holiday, a spread of Red and pink Valentine Dinners, staging The Elf on the Shelf throughout the month of December, the elf making mischievous messes and hiding in strange locations. Leaving Easter eggs through out the yard and even doing fun green foot print trails leading to the toilet with of course, green "pee" in the bowl.
However, as each year came the holiday "fun" became less and less fun, to the point now that this is what is left of my holiday energy...
A Kit Kat bar and cereal with green milk...
sure hope my kids still love me.
Happy St. Patty's Day!

Thanksgiving
For thanksgiving we were going to go to grandpa and grandma Graf's house but because of Covid we decided to not go and go to my parents instead. I didn't get any pictures of Thanksgiving, but while we were there Celeste moved into her new home with the boys that my parents got for her. My parents also got new carpet for the bedrooms so we went over and helped clean up the house and put in new carpet in the bedrooms.

4th of July
We headed over to my parents for a fun 4th of July BBQ. We went shooting, did some simple fireworks and then watched the fireworks show from my parents back yard.

4th of July Tradition of Water Skiing with the Bairds!
Every year on or around the 4th of July we go water skiing and tubing with the Bairds! It's always one of those things I look forward to as it reminds me of my high school years growing up going with my second family, the Claytons. The Bairds have four kids and three girls about the same ages as our girls and we all get along great.
We love the Bairds!

Happy Halloween!!
This year for Halloween, Emily wanted to be a pirate, Avery wanted to be Hermione Granger, and Madisen and her friend Brooke were a character in a book she was reading called, Shadow Weaver.
I along with another mom, were in charge of Emily's class Halloween party. So we came up with some fun games, craft activity and treats for the class. It was fun watching the parade for the last time in elementary school too. I am going to miss those days!
