Madisen is doing amazing serving in Rome New York. Grandma and Grandpa Newman came over for Conference. So of course we played Rook in between sessions. Avery got asked to Homecoming by Ben! It was so cute!!

General conference
Had a fun mini vacation down in Utah. Went and saw Chase me if you can and out to dinner! At the hotel we went swimming and hung out. The next morning we went to conference for the first time! It was so great! We also ran into Whitney and Rock Permann and their cute kids! 🥰

Church at Home
Well, this is a first. Having sacrament at home. It was a beautiful experience though. The girls prepared many talks through the next few months. Coronavirus came in so swiftly and changed everything. Church, School, stores, places closed down and places you could only enter with a mask. It was Chaos unorganized. However, church/the gospel was not. It was beautifully organized through the Come Follow Me lessons, an inspiration from the first Presidency and Quorum of the 12. What an amazing program and so timely.

YW Salt Lake Trip
The Young Women's took a day trip to Salt Lake! They left at 6 am and arrived home after 9pm. They helped paint rooms for mothers and children that we in a tight spot and needed help getting back on their feet. They got to walk around temple square and as they did they met President Uchtdorf!! So lucky!! I am glad Avery and Madisen got to participate.

Clue
For our joint YM/YW night, I wrote the script for a Clue-type murder mystery and everyone that played a character had to be in costume. Each character would then be interviewed by the other youth to determine who they thought was the murderer! Avery was an old granny and she was the best actor, staying in character no matter what! The walker we found at the DI and actually had tennis balls already attached. So awesome!
