Building a Robot

We love visiting Pocatello, which is only 1 hour 45 minutes drive from our home. So we go whenever we can get away. The girls love spending time at Grandpa and Grandma's house. G. G. Newman have a lot of fun toys that we do not, so it's fun for the girls to play over there and build stuff. This time they build (with the help from dad) a rotating robot that moves all over the play when turned on.

Snow!!!

Oh how Avery and Emily love snow! Madisen is not as much as a fan of it as they are so she stayed inside and decided to use her new Christmas drawing paper and draw. Avery and Emily could have stayed out and played all day if they never got cold.

Later though, Madisen decided to see what all the fun was about and they found a big place in the yard that was frozen over in ice and they all tried ice skating on it. It was fun to see them try running on it....hoping the whole time they don't fall and break something!!

Just because...

First day back to school after Christmas break...just because they change so much so fast!

New Year's Swim!

So last year the Primary Presidency challenge all the kids to memorize all 13 articles of Faith. And if they did at the beginning of the following year the senior primary would have a swim party at the Bishop's house. The kids had such a great time in their heated pool. I don't know if the Bishop had such a great time as he got pegged by snowballs the whole time but he endured it well. :)

Happy New Years!

Dan, Jillian and Claire came and stayed with us for a few days for New Years.  Jillian and Claire stayed in Madisen's room. Claire brought this fun game she got for Christmas and we all took turns with the funny blurry glasses. I can't remember the name of the game but we had some good laughs!
