Good Luck Honey!!!

Ryan started the Physician Assistant Program today at ISU, and I am feeling kind of lonely today without him. We have had a good almost three weeks together, and now he will be gone probably 10-12 hours a day for the next two years! So, today is a happy day and also a bit of a sad day, as I realize that I will now join the rest of you hard working mothers, as a single parent as he won't be around as often. But I am proud of him for working so hard to get into the program! He was a little nervous last night and this morning, which I would be too, but he will do great, I know it! While he was getting ready this morning, I made a card for him to tell him good luck and that we love him! I put a little red lipstick on Avery and Madi to kiss the card a few times, so the card had a dozen KISSES on it from all his girls! I stuck it in his bag, hopefully he will get a big laugh out of it when he finds it!

We LOVE you honey!!!

My friends and I refer to it as being a "single wife," cause the single parent stuff is easy...it's the single wifeness that gets dull and hard to take. You're someone's wife, you just have a hard time putting a name to the face sometimes. No worries though. You'll make it! If you get too lonely give me a holla', blog-style. :)

Yes it is bitter sweet! Sweet because it is a means to and end! Bitter because it seems like it will be forever until they get done! I remember thinking if Spence can just get into the program it won't be so bad! Looking forward seems like it will take forever...looking backward seems like it goes by fast if that makes any sense at all! :)

Alan started on Monday, too. I feel a sense of loneliness, as well. But hopefully it will be worth it. Go get 'em Ryan!

I told Jeremy that Ryan started school, and he freaked out cuz he thought that meant that he was supposed to start school, and that he missed his first few days...so he made some phone calls and found out that he really doesnt start school until the 25th...phew! and welcome to the life of the lonely...you are looking at a loooong 2 years. But if you keep making time for each other, the way that you do, things will be okay! see you guys soon-be back in town on saturday!

That's great that he started! It will be a long 2 years but will totally be worth it. That's sweet that you made a card for him-I miss doing things like that for Troy. Have a great weekend!!
