Our BFF came to visit us!

Dan "the PA man", came out west to charm us with his ways. We have been best friends with Dan since the first day we met. It seems we have been friends with him our whole lives not just the past 6 years. Dan is a great friend and we need to find a great girl for him to marry! (Anyone know of a great gal we can hook him up with? :)) It was great to hear Dan and Ryan sing together again in church too. They did a wonderful job!

Anyway, while Dan was out visiting us for a few days we decided to take our chances out on the water and do some major kayaking!

Idaho is such a beautiful place to live and so much outdoor fun!

We watched some parachuters jump off the bridge...they are crazy!

 And he did. At least it wasn't a belly flop...

We played Rummikub...I beat them twice. What can a girl do?

They were not having very much fun.

Exhaustion came over them both... 

Madisen too. 

Later that night we got another babysitter and went out for dinner. We set Dan up on a blind date with a girl in our ward.  

Dinner wasn't the best, but we all had fun talking and laughing.

 After dinner we went and played some miniature golf...

We are pretty hard core I know. ;)

Ryan and I with the win! I got a 28 which is one over par. Everyone else got in the lower to upper 30's! MUAHAHAHA! 

Dan and Candace weren't too happy about their loss...trying to rip up the score card! Pssh.

However, the next day in tennis, and this is really hard for me to say, but they beat us in a set of tennis. We needed humbling apparently after our sweet victory from the day before. 

Madisen loves tennis and wants to play like her mom! :)

BFF's

My best friend, Kimberly from high school drove up from Oklahoma for family reunions and such in Idaho. I was so excited she was able to stay with us for a day and night! It is always so great to see her and talk like old times. She is an amazing person and mother. The kids instantly bonded as well. After they left Madisen wrote in her journal that she "got to play with her BFF for a day"... and how much fun she had. SO cute!

On outfield, Madisen played pitching position. And she tagged someone out on 3rd!

Madisen only has 1 game left of the season and she has loved softball. I asked her whether she would rather play soccer or softball next year and her vote was for softball. She's a natural and loves to play and has tons of fun while doing it so that's all that matters!
