Ali and her Mom, Bette Sue

School Humor

Everyone knows how stressful school can get from day to day...Ryan and I have been in school on and off through our married life as many of you have too...and after years of studying, essays, homework, loss of sleep, grades, speeches, exams and STRESS, we both finally know what we want to be when we grow up!

Ryan wants to be a Physician Assistant

Christy wants to be a stay at home mom...haha ;)

As the semester is coming to an end, and there is term papers due and exams, I needed some humor today and thought I would share these funny comics with you!

Uncle Randy

My little brother, Randy and his friend, Chelsie came down from Rexburg and spent part of Saturday with us.
Madisen had a great time with her Uncle, as they played house in her new playhouse, drew on the patio with chalk and played on the swingset. We grilled some hotdogs and later we had popcorn and icecream and watched Tarzan! Madi sure loves her uncle! It was great to have him over and it was nice meeting Chelsie.

Avery's Angry Face

It's been so fun to see little Avery's BIG personality coming out! She sure lets you know when she is upset...This is her angry face! She squints her eyes, puckers up her lips, scrunches her nose as she flares her nostrils. Ryan and I just get a kick out of it everytime she does it!

Beauty Mark?

I thought these pictures were cute... Avery posing as she shows off her new beauty mark
Avery is all smiles when she wakes up in the morning, I don't know if that's because she is happy to see me or because she gets to eat breakfast... I would like to think it's because she is happy to see me, but I know all to well she loves to eat breakfast! (Especially pancakes!) But this morning I went with the easy rice cereal and she likes to snack on cheerios in between. She grabs a handful of cheerios and tries desperately to get at least one in her mouth as she smashes most in her hand and a few fall to the floor. As she was trying to get a cheerio into her mouth, one of them stuck to the cereal that was on her face and it made me laugh!! Her Cheerio beauty mark...

Sally the Horse

I love to take pictures, mostly pictures of my kids and I like to take videos clips of Madisen when she doesn’t know I am listening. It's so cute when she is playing with her animals and having a conversation with them or between them. Here’s a quick preview of Madi's conversations she has between her animals, “…I am going to bed. Night night. I love you! I love you too daddy…” She wanted a picture of her animals. These are her favorite animals and this small yellow horse is named Sally, and it is one of the first things Madi asks for when she gets up every morning!

New Playhouse and Swing-set

Hi Mom.
"I tthink i'mm ccc-olddd..."

Weeeee!!! "Woah! What was that?!"
When Ryan and I moved into this home, we wanted to get a swing-set and playhouse for the girls so they could have a good time outside this summer, exploring and using their imaginations! We found a great deal at K-Mart and decided to jump on it! (thanks April) We bought it and put it up Conference weekend (in between sessions of course ;) thanks guys!) My whole family came and stayed with us that weekend and we had a really good time! When it was all put together we took Madisen outside to see it. We couldn't tell at first what Madisen thought about it, (she is not one that gives a whole lot of facial expressions one way or the other) but when we tried to get her to come inside after awhile we could tell she just loved it...she would have stayed out there all day, freezing temperatures or not. She did not want to come inside. We went out a few days later and Avery got in on the action too, bouncing on the tramp and sliding down the slide(of course with me helping her down). After awhile it was time to come inside, Mommy doesn't do as well in the cold...however, the weather is suppose to get warmer here next week...can't wait! We will have more fun in the sun soon!

Fun in the Tub

Avery loves bath time! (Most babies and kids do). It's so relaxing and you can tell she just loves the feel of the warm water as it goes down her back as I rinse her off. As soon as I took her out of the tub she literally wailed because she didn't want to get out, it was really sad actually and I was tempted to just let her play longer but she was starting to turn into a wrinkled raisin.

Over the Hill

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!
We wanted to wish my dad a Happy 50th Birthday today!! Can you believe that he is 50?! There is only a small percentage of people in the world who as the years go by, they seem to manage to keep getting younger...my dad is one of those people! You look great dad!
We Love you!
Also Happy Birthday to my friend Amy Moore!! :)

The Band-Aid Bandit

With every little stumble, trip and fall there is always a need for a band aid no matter how much it actually hurt or if in fact it caused any bleeding. It’s funny how a band aid can solve these types of problems so easily…they trip and fall, (or bang their nose in this case) cry for a band aid, you put a band aid on the scratch or boo-boo and then they are off before you know it, practically running to the next adventure where they soon find themselves in line for the next band aid. Soon they are so covered in band aids, you can’t tell if they are your kid or the kid across the street… ;) Yet it’s too bad band aids can’t solve everything. Like for instance; when it’s time to go bed, time to go inside or go home, saying no to more candy, cookies or ice cream, a band aid just doesn’t fix those problems and sometimes just doesn’t cover up all the boo-boos of parenting.

No shoes No shirt No service

Avery spit up all down her shirt so I took it off and she just looked so cute with her tummy rolls over the front of her pants... Avery’s tummy was just calling out, “take a picture of me!” Before you go into stores sometimes there is a sign that says, “NO shoes NO shirt NO service," this picture made me think of that sign.
Sorry Avery, but it looks like you are out of luck. You sure are cute though!
