Preserving our Garden
We plant a garden every year and try to preserve as much as we can from it. This year we got tons of zucchini, cucumbers, squash, peppers, jalapeños, tomatoes, and onions. This year we made several batches of relish, sweet and dill. We canned dill pickles with the cucumbers, and that was a hit! We made several batches of green chili sauce and tomato sauce, salsa and also a big batch of apple pie filling, from all the apples we went and picked. So we made quite a bit with all we had. The girls helped and learned quite a bit too.
