Grandma's Birthday!!

We decided to take a trip over to Idaho Falls to visit Grandma and Grandpa Newman. It was Grandma Newman's birthday so we took her out to her favorite place to eat- Mexican!

Black Bear Diner

The kids survived another year of school! So we decided to take them out to dinner to celebrate. Now Emily will go into 6th, Avery into 7th and  Madisen will be a freshman! Crazy how fast they grow up. Time is definitely a thief! Ryan wouldn't take a normal picture, so I had to keep taking pictures until he finally smiled...ugh. That punk. haha!

I don't take pictures of myself that often, let alone pose for a selfie...it just feels weird.  But today I was feeling pretty good and looking not too bad either. ;)

 

Bathroom Makeover!

    Our guest bathroom was...cough, horrible. Just plain nasty. Ryan says, "No it wasn't."  I beg to differ. It was outdated, cheap and just so not my style at all...or anymore. So another coronavirus project began. This time is was my idea. Maybe that's why he wasn't too thrilled! haha. 

    So many many hours, tears, disagreements, laughters and 2,500 whopping dollars later, we changed our bathroom's entire look.  We painted walls, floors, did a stencil on the floor, hung ship lap on one wall, sanded wood, cut wood, stained wood, changed out the mirror, light fixture, vanity, sink, faucet, curtains, rugs, show curtain and decor. It took about 12 days! It was a way bigger project than I thought it was goin got be. But I absolutely love it!! 

 

Kristen's Baby Shower

Even though this was her 4th child, and 3rd girl. We still have to get together and get her a few items for new soon to arrive baby girl. 

 

Desperate for Money

This girl right here was apparently desperate for money. Or else she was trying to put the dentist out of business. 

She had 4 wiggly teeth and since one tooth fell out the night before and she got a $1 for it, she figured might as well work on the other 3 while watching a movie. She lost- pulled 4 teeth out in less than 24 hours! Crazy girl. I think we gave her an extra dollar for effort and efficiency.
