Spring Break in Colorado!

We drove out to Colorado for Spring Break with Wendy and Jerry.  We went up to Denver with Grandma and Grandpa Hodges to one of our favorite places, Casa Bonita!  It's this awesome Mexican restaurant where there's a huge waterfall inside and they have divers that leap off into the water.  Christy really liked the diver's back muscles as they climbed the cliffs.  There's also a couple of arcades and a spooky cave that you can explore.  They have live shows as well so there's always stuff to do. Afterwards, we went back with Nate and Erin and had a crafting and painting party. We had a ton of fun and celebrated Wendy's birthday at the same time!

Relief Society's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Relief Society! This year for our birthday dinner we have a fun fiesta party- a piñata, a cake walk, and other get to know you games. The food was delicious! I didn't get any pictures of during it or after but we had a pretty good turn out with 50 sisters. 

 

Relief Society Birthday Dinner

(This was in 2018- March 13th 2018, but put the wrong date so it didn't get published in the right year- but I wanted to add it to this book). 

Another fun Relief Society birthday dinner I was in charge of. I thought it came out really cute and I was super happy with it. We had 12 tables, and you sat at the table of your birthday month to get to know the ladies that you share a birthday month with. Then we had 12 speakers- each one talked for 3-5 minutes about the great qualities that make up Relief Society and what that means to them. We also had a sign up for 12 cakes, for each month of the year! It was so cute what the sisters came up with showing their month!
