Celebrating Grandpa Cherryholmes' Life

 

My Grandpa Cherryholmes passed away in June but we celebrated his life through out the summer at different times. My grandma came up to Pocatello and spent time with us and many of my cousins came and we had a big luncheon. My grandpa would have loved it. We sure miss him! 

Madisen's trip to Colorado

 

We went to go see the swans and ducks and I remember grandpa telling me the difference between a girl duck and a boy then I wanted to go touch em but i didn't want em pecking me. some professional people came and painted me and grandma's nails. It felt so relaxing and the nail polish stayed on for like 3 months!

We went to this really fancy place as grandma and grandpa told me interesting stories about history people.

I remember the lake was a huge circle and as we walked it me stared at the ducks and swans as the swam gracefully crossed the lake. 

We went to this really good pizza place in Colorado that is Grandma's favorite thin pizza.

In the museum there was dinosaur and space things.

We went to this space museum or something and watched a cool video about a dude saying stuff about space.

This is the castle that me and grandma went to. We wanted to visit all the rooms but some were too fancy so they wouldn't let us but we did go to the very top and found the last room. We just didn't go inside. Then Grandma had tea and I had chocolate milk. They gave us some food. Some of it was good the rest of it was kind of interesting. I remember going outside with grandma at the end and smelling the flowers and looking at the weird bugs. But it was a lot of fun.
