Grandpa Newman's 86th Birthday!

My Grandpa Newman's birthday party! We go down every year in January and celebrate his birthday with all my aunts and cousins that can attend. This year many families attended and it was a fun time surprising and showering my grandpa with gifts! We sure love you Grandpa Newman! 

Shiplap Wall Project

Every year we do a few projects to our house to add richness, value and beauty! I wanted to shiplap walls for a long time and decided this was the year. I knew exactly what walls I wanted to do and we went to work making it happen! I love the way they turned out and it adds so much character to our house. Thanks babe for all your hard work helping me do this project! You're a champ!!

YMCA New Year's Swimming

Every year in January the city pool opens and they have a family free day! So we decided to give it a try...let's just say, it was a nice try! It was a bit cold, even with the dome shelter over top, but the girls still gave it a good effort. Mom was kind of chicken and wouldn't even get passed her knees! haha! Next time we will just stick with our tradition of going to Thousand Springs Resort, as it is a heated springs resort.

We love when Colton comes to visit! We always have a great time with him and we love the special time we get with him as it only happens a few times a year. Boy! Are these kids getting big!
