Grandma Gilmore's Funeral/ Girl's birthday Celebration

We had to take an unplanned trip down to Ceader City because Grandma Gilmore passed away. She got really sick and within a few weeks passed away on April 16th. She lived a good and full life and how grateful we are that we had many opportunities to spend with her before she passed. The girls have been able to spend a week down in Utah the pass few years and hang out with her and get to know her better as well. Uncle John came into all our lives just a year before this picture so it was extra special that he got to meet his birth mom before she passed away. John looks just like her! Doing family history and meeting new members of the family that we didn't even know existed!

Because Grandma Gilmore passed away during the girls' birthday week, we decided to do a few fun things while we were visiting grandma and grandpa. We went to Fiesta Fun Center  and did miniature golf, go-carts, bowling, laser tag, batting cages and water squirting! Then we finished with a night at Texas Roadhouse! It was a great way to spend the day.

The next day we got to see the new Cedar City temple almost complete and took a drive over to Aunt Jerry's house to feed her horses.
