We had a ward talent show tonight and our girls both wanted to sign up and hula hoop for everyone. They did such a great job! I was seriously so excited, nervous and shocked to be honest. Our girls are pretty shy and reserved so when Avery said she wanted to do it for everyone I was so surprised. Then Madisen said she would do it with her. They each took a minute and performed their own little routine and tricks with the hula hoop and the crowd was cheering and the girls were smiling from ear to ear. They didn't drop it once and everyone kept telling me afterwards that the girls stole the show!
They had games and face painting and all sorts of fun activities for the kids. We have a ton of talent in our ward and it was a fun night. I am so proud of our girls for getting out of their comfort zones and preforming for everyone. I will always remember this night and their expressions. It was seriously priceless.
