My parents came over from Pocatello to spend 4th of July with us. We decided to go rollerskating! Something we haven't done in a long time. It had been years since my mom and dad last roller-skated. After rollerskating we were invited to a friend's house for a BBQ. They had a waterside a min pool for all the kids to play in.
Later that night we did our own fireworks in the driveway and watched out of Madisen's upstairs bedroom window at the city fireworks that were going off just a 1 mile or so from our house. So we had a perfect spot to watch them without all the traffic! We are so lame! :) No, it was perfect for us as we and our girls aren't that into fireworks. In fact, Avery ran inside the house when we started doing sparklers she was so scared! Hopefully she will grow out of her fears someday.
