So there we were, cruising around in our sweet new ride, windows rolled down, top down, being our usual cool-as-ice selves, when Madi and I (dad) came across this party going on at the drive-in. We decided to stop by and see what all the noise was about. We parked our convertible race car on the grass and everyone was like "whoah! Nice car." We just nodded our heads in our cool way and headed for the food and games.
We saw some old friends there and it's clear that life has been pretty hard on their car... paint job is shredded and tires came off. I'm amazed they made it to the party! But even though their car wasn't in good shape, the Memmots were as cool as ever. Seriously, they can make anything look awesome.
The crowd started to grow as the party got louder and more crazy. Brother Beard started chugging chocolate milk, and we were like "Dude! you crazy! Slow down!" and he was like, "You can't stop awesomeness!" as the chocolate milk ran all over his chin, chest, and hair. What a cool cat. The Hansens arrived in their rumbler called "The Red Beast," and let me tell you, that thing IS a beast! They could drive over anything with that monster.
Just when we thought things couldn't get more rad, the Hamiltons and Lovelesses bust in. The Hamiltons were driving this sweet ride with stickers all over it. It was one sweet ride! The Lovelesses built from scratch a sweet sporty car that was the envy of the party. It even had rear-view mirrors! Crazy! There was even this enormous blue bus that was like a party in itself! Anyone who didn't make it to this scene really missed out!
We finally found the grub and started pounding hot dogs and popcorn. I ate like way too much ice cream and I paid the price, but you only live once, know what I mean? Madi was all up in the caramel corn. We watched Cars 2 in the garage and then we hit the road. This is one activities day party I'll never forget!
