At around 8:45 in the morning I went over to feed Happy. Right when I saw him, I was surprised to see he wasn't alive. "He checked out" or "Bought the farm" as Ryan would say. Ryan said he fed him that morning before he went to school and he was still kickin' around... so sometime between 7:25 and 8:45 am, Happy took his last breath...(or gulped his last gulp??) Thanks to Aaron and Amy for letting us have a chance to raise Happy. Happy was a bright fish and had a memory capacity of 8 seconds at a time. He lived a long-happy four months and 3 days with us...
Madi was sad but we told her Happy is now with Heavenly Father. She said, "Are we going to get another fish?" I told her no, probably not. She then said, " Are we getting a dog or a sheep then?" haha...No, sorry Madi.
Farewell Happy!! Then Madi flushed him down. As you can see Avery, too, was surprised by his sudden passing...

LOL-Poor Happy. . . please don't get a dog :)(hehe)
Poor Happy. I love that-- he gulped his last gulp! lol!
My condolences to your family, I am sorry for your loss. Fish are such special pets. Darn it. ;)
First of all I want to tell you that I have been rolling on the floor laughing at your embarassing moment!! Great stuff Christy!!
Second of all, OH MY HECK Happy the fish died!!??? I must offer your family my condolences (spelling?)! He didn't live very long....Aaron said you guys should consider feeding it if you want it to live! haha jk
I think your next pet should definitely be a sheep!! baaaaa
RIP Happy!
Amy, just tell Aaron the truth: we made Happy watch BYU football and he died from boredom.
Also, if you think about it, Happy only had a few seconds of memory at a time, so he had no idea that he got jipped out of a long life.
Maddy was pretty sad about it, but you can't flush a sheep down the toilet when it bites the bullet...
LOL! Honey...it's MADI.
I am surprised MADI, didn't ask us if we could get a dinosaur!
I vote for a sheepdog - that way everyone's happy. By the way (I just realized I forgot to comment yesterday on your last post), THAT is exactly what I feel like every time I go to Walmart. I try to only go in the early morning hours, but sometimes I get brave and venture in with my children. Nothing cures patience like a trip to the store with three kids and an 84-year old woman (did you know we take care of an 83-year old woman?)! I always look at all the other moms who seem to be able to conduct their regularly-scheduled shopping trips with ease, despite kids in tow. Not I. I fully appreciate when I see (or hear of) someone struggling, so I wish I had been there!
Ryan -- Don't lie..you know you want a sheep for a pet, you dirty little sheep shagger!! (They say that in Australia all the time, so it is totally legal) And please don't say such blasphemy about the Lord's football team! Aaron
You silly people...So sorry that your fish died! I have to agree with the Moores...back up off BYU!
