ZOO

I will have to say that the Pocatello zoo is not the most exciting zoo, especially when most of the animals were hiding out, staying out of the sun! Ugh! But it was fun being together anyway! And the animals we did see were always a BIG hit with Madi, can't ever go wrong there! Watching the Buffalo in the field...I remember a year ago Madi called them, "Big Doggies" haha!

Mom and Avery strolling along in the HOT sun, trying to see some animals. Of course, the animals would probably be considered smarter than us as they avoided being out of the scorching temperatures and blazing sun and instead took shelter in the shade or in their hideouts! They were probably secretly laughing at our stupidity as we tried to brave the blistering heat only to fail miserably, as the sun let us know that that was never a possibility! Next time we go to the zoo, we will hopefully remember to go early in the morning or later in the evening when it is not SO hot!!!

Madi loved petting the goats! I think we all enjoyed it as it was in the shade!

Even though most of the animals we couldn't see, Madi still had a good time and didn't want to leave. She has such a tender heart when it comes to animals! She definitely got that from Ryan!

Avery even seemed to enjoy the goats!!
